About "Wialon" monitoring system
When the integrator is told “transport monitoring program”, the first association for most of them will be the word “Wialon”. Today it is the most popular software in the CIS countries and, more recently, in parts of the world that are more remote from us.
And today I want to tell you more about it. We, IvanGlonassov, being a dealer of this software for six years, know that behind any high-quality product of this level there is always a large team of professionals in their field, and Wialon is no exception. Since 2006, Gurtam (Republic of Belarus) has been developing, maintaining and improving. Having gone from beta versions with a minimal set of basic functions, Wialon is now a global software suite with more than 2 million connected objects around the world.
The first beta versions appeared in 2006, when the program had the most basic functionality - tracking movement and the history of such movements.
In 2007, they introduced the GPS-Trace program, also known as Orange.
It was distinguished by its provision on a free basis and the ability to connect only a few objects. Thus, the possibility of a full-fledged version of Wialon was demonstrated to a wide range of potential customers.
Since 2009, active promotion has begun through specialized exhibitions, one of such events was the Navitech exhibition. Over the years, the Gurtam booth at this exhibition has become the center of active communication between professionals in the monitoring market.
Since 2010, the Gurtam company has been expanding beyond Belarus and opening an office in Moscow. In the same year, the first own conference called "Telematics" starts, which in 2019 celebrated its anniversary.
In 2011, the number of states in which Gurtam partners worked reached 50. By 2014, Gurtam becomes the market leader in the CIS according to the independent analytical agency Berg Insight. In the same year, the number of connected objects reached 400,000.
In subsequent years, a number of events take place that characterize the development of the company most clearly - this is the emergence of partners in 100 countries of the world, the opening of its own office in Dubai, getting into the TOP-5 of the most popular transport management systems on the international market, overcoming the mark of 2,000,000 objects and participation in international exhibitions in Asia and the USA.

In the left part of the workspace, user objects are collected, in the upper part - the options of the workspace.
The monitoring tab allows you to track the movement of a specific vehicle in real time. On the Tracks tab, you can display the history of movement for the period of interest to us.
The Messages tab will show what data is received at the time of operation, such as on-board network voltage, mobile network status, coordinates, number of satellites, speed and other parameters.
In Reports, the user can operate with report templates prepared for him. For example, a speed report that will graphically show how the car's speed changed during the trip, which will make it easy to see at what point the speed limit was violated.
The Geofences option allows you to set the boundaries, beyond which the vehicle will immediately be fixed, and the dispatcher will be notified. Geofence shapes can also be customized as desired, giving them the desired shape.
The routes option allows you to configure a sequence of points that a vehicle must pass in a given time interval. It is also possible to assign a specific driver to a given route, which is a necessity for taxi companies, ambulance dispatch services and various delivery services.
Thus, we have shown only a small part of the extensive functionality of the Wialon system, which makes it one of the most versatile and popular monitoring systems in the world.
